Jan is giving Freja some raspberries and as you can see, she really likes it. Her laugh is just about the sweetest thing.

Plane

Yesterday we celebrated a friends birthday at a gorgeous house along the Roaring Fork River. Freja loved the big open lawn and probably would have jumped in the river if it weren't for our watchful eyes. The house was also in the flight path for the Aspen airport. There were several low flying planes and with each one Freja would get really excited and point to them. I think she is going to be a pilot like her great grandmother!

The pink car

Our neighbor and one-time babysitter Karen loaned us this pink car this spring. Freja loves to climb on it or to be pushed around in it all over the neighborhood. If you've noticed it shows up frequently on the blog or on Facebook because it is a huge hit!

Happy Father's Day!!

Now that Freja is walking around all over the place, I find I'm always looking for ways to keep her occupied. I saw this idea on Pinterest recently & thought it would be perfect to entertain her while I'm in the kitchen, and keep her just out of the kitchen since it is cozy in there. It is an oil drip tray attached to the cabinet with velcro, used as a magnet board. Jan helped me round up the supplies and as soon as it was up Freja was intrigued. Success!

We had a fantastic time with Jan, Kelly and Freja in Colorado! We went to Rock Bottom Farm to see the piglets, bunnies, poultry and kids (goats and children, as it turned out).

We loved being at home with them in their routine. Freja has it down so well, when it's time to play, eat, nap run around, go to the park, or read. She is happy all the time, talking and responding to everything around her.

We enjoyed seeing Jan being such a wonderful dad and husband. Happy second Father's Day, Son! We're so lucky to have Kelly and Freja in our lives. Thank you so much for all your hospitality.
